Six Maoists surrender in Salyan, Udaypur

Six Maoist insurgents have surrendered to local security forces in Salyan and Udaypur on Wednesday.

According to state-run Radio Nepal Thursday, five from Udaypur and one insurgent from Salyan district surrendered to local security forces with arms expressing willingness to live a normal life.

The report quoted them as criticizing the Maoist party as a criminal group and that they didn’t want to be associated with it any longer.
