Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Arjun Jung Bahadur Singh who is leading the Nepalese delegation to the 57th United Nations General Assembly met with US under-secretary of State Marc Grossman in New York Tuesday, RSS reported .

During the meeting matters of bilateral interest as well as issues before the United Nations were discussed. The US government reiterated its support for Nepal’s campaign against terrorism and the need to consolidate democratic polity in the country.

Minister Singh thanked the US government for its continued support to Nepal at a time when it was going through a lot of hardship.

Foreign secretary Madhu Raman Acharya and Royal Nepalese ambassador to the United States Jai Pratap Rana were also present during the meeting.
