Shambhu Thapa new NBA president

Advocate Shambhu Thapa has been elected the new president of private lawyers’ umbrella organisation, Nepal Bar Association (NBA), an announcement said Wednesday.

He defeated contestant Yagyamurti Banjade by 321 votes, receiving a total of 2,824 votes in the elections held last Saturday.

Likewise, Madhav Baskota was elected as the secretary general of the Association.
