At least seven passengers were killed and three others were critically injured when a three-wheeler tempo collided with a truck after being hit by a Pajero in Golbazaar road along the Mahendra Highway in Siraha district this morning, reports said.

According to reports from the district, a Pajero with registration number Ba 2 Cha 6323 hit a tempo with registration number Sa 1 Ha 137. The impact propelled the tempo on the path of a truck with registration number Na 2 Kha 2911 resulting in casualties.

Five were killed on the spot and two others died on the way to hospital.
