The Royal Nepalese Army (RNA) has deposited another lot of seized gold and silver ornaments from Maoists valued at Rs.1.8 million with the Nepal Rashtra Bank, the Defence Ministry said.

The valuables were seized before announcement of a ceasefire between government and rebels to end seven years of hostilities. Rs.39,355 in Indian currency was also deposited with the central bank.
