The Rastriya Prajatnatra Party which was sidelined by other major political parties from the proposed movement against the Royal Proclamation of October 4 has stated that it will not back out from joining the political mainstream.

The major political parties, the Nepali Congress and the CPN (UML) announced Wednesday that they would not include the RPP and the Nepal Sadbhawana Party in the protests against the Royal Proclamation as their view on the controversial issue was still very hazy.

A press statement issued by RPP central member Khem Raj Pandit said Wednesday that the only way out of the present political crisis could be found by holding dialogue between the King and the political parties in the dissolved House of Representatives.

Similarly Rajendra Mahato of the Nepal Sadbhawana Party has expressed astonishment as to why his party had been removed from the political mainstream of six parties even when it was involved in the programme from the very beginning.
