Refugee woman trampled to death

KATHMANDU: An elephant trampled to death a Bhutanese refugee woman in Beldanji camp for displaced persons in Jhapa district Friday, refugee sources said. The elephant entered the camp from a neighbouring jungle.

Five huts were also destroyed. Migrating wild elephants from Assam in India are a constant menace in Jhapa and Morang districts.
