Police on Sunday arrested Samanta Bajracharya who had been absconding for the last four years after murdering his wife. The accused from ward no: 20, Jyathya, Kathmandu convinced his wife to accompany him to the papal tree at Bhimsensthan, Ramghat where he stabbed her to death on Paush 25, 2056 BS.

Bajracharya was arrested by the police squad led by inspector Bhakta Bahadur Bista at Gongabu bus park. Bista said that the police were working earnestly to track down old criminals.
