Biratnagar, May 8: Mukunda Dahal, a resident of Biratnagar sub-metropolitan city, Ward No. 10, has been arrested on the charges of women trafficking, the district police office, Morang, stated.

The accused, who was said to be having an affair with a girl with the surname Bhujel for the past 8-10 months, was arrested after the girl complained against him at the Ilaka police office Rani accusing him of forcing her to sleep with his friends when the two had gone for a visit to Jogbani in India.

The girl is learnt to have escaped from the captivity of his friends and then reported the matter to the police in Nepal.

Police said Dahal was married. He has been booked under the prevention of trafficking in human act
