Police at midnight impounded a truck laden with six quintals of illegal hashish worth Rs.2.6 million in the international market at Dhaunedanda in Nawalparasi, police said Sunday.

Five persons, including driver Nabin Thapa and his helper Puran Bika, have been arrested. It was not known where the traffickers were taking the banned drug consignment.
