Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba sent a letter to the top leaders of the pro-parliamentary parties, asking them to join his government.
Stressing the urgent need for solving the insurgency, Deuba said that the all-party government would be formed on the basis of a national consensus program.
“The main task of the present government is to establish peace, with the joint efforts of pro-democratic and constitutional forces and with accordance to the multi-party democracy and constitutional monarchy established through the 1990 movement,” Deuba said in his letter.
