Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has called an all party meeting at this official residence in Baluwatar at 3:00 pm Sunday to hold discussions on the contemporary political situation of the country and the issues related with the November elections.

Other political parties have been holding a series of meetings in their bid to hammer out a solution to the present political crisis in the country. They have been reported by the press of seeking alternatives from within the Constitution to address the maladies besetting the nation. Talks about the formation of an all-party government have also come to the fore.

Prime Minister Deuba’s party is participating in the meeting for the first time today. The meeting is said to have been called after the political parties repeatedly pressed Deuba to come up with a concrete proposal regarding the security arrangements that have been made for the impending November elections.
