Pilot error has been blamed for the crash of a Skyline Airways Twin Otter six months ago during a flight from Jumla to Surkhet, a report submitted to Minister for Civil Aviation Minister Kuber Sharma
said Wednesday.
The pilot tried to land in Surkhet in misty weather conditions and crashed against a hill minutes before landing. The investigation was carried out by then Deputy Attorney General Nanda Bahadur Subedi as head of a seven member investigation commission.
“The pilot was not cautious,” investigators said.
