KATHMANDU: At least one passenger was killed and 20 others injured when a bus heading for Birgunj from Kathmandu collided with a truck at Naubise, Dhading district, on the Prithivi Highway Friday morning.

Reports quoting officials at the Khanikhola Ilaka Police Office said the bus with registration number Ba 2 Kha 253 overturned on the road after colliding with a trucking coming from the opposite direction.

Laxmi Upreti of Dumarbana, Bara district, was killed in the accident while 20 injured passengers have been brought to Kathmandu for treatment, reports added.
