Nepal Sadbhavana Party (NSP) withdrew its protest in parliament against the land reform programme announced by Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba more than a month ago.
NSP had been boycotting the House in protest against the proposed land reform and land ceiling programmes of the government. Parliamentary party leader of NSP Badri Parasad Mandal informed the House of Representatives, Lower House of parliament of his party’s decision to withdraw the protest against the land reforms in Monday’s meeting.
NSP had been demanding ceiling on all property. Details about the withdrawl were not available. n
