Some leaders in the Nepal Sadbhawana Party (NSP) are trying their level best to bridge the rift seen in the party after 19 central committee members withdrew support to the government and asked Deputy Prime Minister Badri Mandal who is the Acting National President of the party to step down.
The leaders according to party sources are working to forge unity in the party after sensing that Deputy Prime Minister Mandal is not for the idea of stepping down regardless of the consequences he might have to face.
Leaders are for settling their scores at the impending General Convention of the party, according to party sources.
