Nepalese living in the United Kingdom (UK) formed a National Coordination Committee (NCC) of the Non-Resident Nepalese (NRN) in London, a press release from the committee said.
According to the release, the NCC was formed last Sunday by a meeting of the Nepalese living in the UK. His Excellency Royal Nepalese Ambassador to UK, Prabal Shumshere JB Rana (chief guest) and representatives of most of the UK based Nepalese organizations were present in the meeting, the release added.
The meeting also appointed Mahanta B Shrestha the president of the committee, and Bijay Thapa and Asko Shrestha as its vice-presidents.
In the meeting, Professor of International Law Dr Surya Subedi, who is also the advisor of International Coordination Committee of NRN, shed light on the various aspects of the NRN movement, the release said.
