Security forces shot dead nine terrorists in the latest security operations in Sankhuwasabha, Bardiya, Accham, Kailali, Kanchanpur and Dailekh districts, the Defence Ministry said.

Security forces also recovered arms and ammunitions from the sites where the operations were launched.

Meanwhile Maoist terrorists blasted the office of the Gangabu Village Development Committee in Gangabu some eight kilometers north of the capital city, police said. Nobody was hurt in the blast, the police added.
