NEPSE index plunges 3.93 points

The NEPSE index plunged 3.93 points at the end of five-day trading Friday. The market opened at 222.12 points Monday and closed at 218.19 points Friday.

Commercial bank shares plummeted 5.55 points settling at 209.97 points at the end of the week.

But commercial bank shares still accounted for 76.96 percent of the total trade.

Altogether 26,772 shares worth Rs.8.06 million  were traded through 498 transactions. Bank of Kathmandu again led trading with 6,720 shares  totaling Rs.1.75 million sold.
