Nepathya, the premier folk-rock band of the country, which is on a 40-day long nationwide musical tour with a banner “Shantiko Lagi Sikchya” (Education for Peace) has performed in the far-western town of Dhangadhi.
Nepathya performed its ticket-free show Monday for about 1000 audience at the local Joshi Talkies.

Children from various shelter homes and local schools including physically challenged enjoyed the show.
On Tuesday, Nepathya organised the public show, which was broadcasted on local Ghodaghodi FM and STS Cable reaching the show and Amrit’s appeal for sustaining peace to hundred of thousand Kailali residents.
According to organizers, during the 40 days tour Nepathya is scheduled to perform in 15 places. 5 of which will be open-air shows and the rest is indoor shows.
Earlier – Amrit Gurung of Nepathya visited Kailali Public Library in Dhangadi and presented a token to the library. The token consisted of a nepa-laya publication – Palpasa Café, a press statement issued by the organizer said.
After the show, the Nepathya team that consists 45 members left for Surkhet after the show in Dhangadhi. Nepathya will perform in Surkhet on Thursday
It will then tour to Sandhikharka, Tamghas, Pokhara and Besishar in the west. It is scheduled to further travel to Trisuli Bazaar and Jiri before concluding in Kathmandu on the 31st of January.
