Nepal and South Korea signed an air accord to begin direct air services between the two countries Wednesday in Seoul.
Tourism Secretary Barun Prasad Shrestha and Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Works and Transport Cho Woo-Hyang signed the agreement. Royal Nepal Airlines can fly via Shanghai while a South Korean airliner can fly via Bangkok as intermediary points and pick up 50 passengers each from the two cities.
It is not certain when direct flights will start between Kathmandu and Seoul.
