KATHMANDU: Nepal attended the fourth ministerial level Bangladesh, India, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Thailand (BIMST-EC) meet in Yangon Friday as an observer, the Foreign Ministry said.

Charge d’ affairs Harish Chandra Ghimere at the Royal Nepalese Embassy in the Myanmar capital represented Nepal at the meeting. The last meeting discussed Nepal’s membership of the organization.

Nepal was represented by a government minister at the parley.
