President of Nepali Congress (Democratic) and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that the party’s ongoing movement would continue until the ‘regression’ is corrected.
Addressing a meeting organized at the party headquarters at Maharajgunj on Sunday, Deuba insisted that restoration of his government that was ousted by the King on October 4 last year would be a step towards solving the existing political stalemate.
The NC-D meet has decided to organize a procession in Kathmandu on January 20 to commemorate the beginning of the popular movement of 1990.
The demonstration that will proceed from Ratna Park, according to the party, will be a major one since the beginning of anti-regression protests.
The party has called on all the quarters to extend support for the protests. nepalnews.com mk Jan 18
