Four Maoist terrorists opened fire on Nepal Congress Bhaktapur district Committee President Radhyeshyam Joncche at his residence in Chundevi Sunday, the Radio Nepal reported.

Joncche was rushed to the Bir Hospital for the treatment of two bullet wounds. According to the police four terrorists had opened fire on Joncche while he was returning home after a meditation in the morning.

One of the terrorists was killed in the firing. The bullets from Joncche’s body were removed after an operation late Sunday. He is currently under ventilation at the hospital.
