Kathmandu: Mr. Dan Ben-Elizer has been appointed as Israel’s Ambassador to the court of Nepal, said Nepal’s foreign ministry sources on Monday.

Mr. Dan is replacing his predecessor, Mr. Abraham Nir, who upon completion of his Nepal tenure was assigned Ambassadorial post in Vietnam.

Ambassador designate Mr. Dan is shortly arriving Kathmandu to take up his new assignment. Mr. Dan is a career diplomat, the source adds.
