Maoists Monday night bombed the Dabur Nepal and Surya Nepal premises at Rampur Tokani and Simara in Bara district respectively, causing minor damage, reports said Wednesday.

A wall of Dabur Nepal premises was damaged, while there was no significant damage to Surya Nepal building, the Himalayan Times said.

Maoists had demanded Rs.10 million from Dabur Nepal and Rs.5 million from Surya Nepal as “special tax” threatening action, if the amount was not paid before December 26, the daily added.
