Maoists students Sunday said they will suspend their Kathmandu Valley strike of educational institutions from Monday with a renewed threat to launch a nation-wide strike from March 13 if their other demands are not met.

Management of boarding schools earlier said schools would reopen Monday. Rebel students said their demands were just and reasonable. The uncertainty in educational institutions has been temporarily resolved.
