A group of Maoists shot the bank manager and robbed a branch office of Rastriya Banijya Bank in Tulsipur, Dang at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, a report from Nepalgunj said.

Maoists shot bank manager Keshav Kumar Sharma in shoulder, took other staffers under control and robbed Rs 4 million from the bank, the report said.

The Maoists were armed and came in a van. The robbed money was brought to the bank just on Thursday.
