Maoists Wednesday shot dead policeman Karma Bahadur Bista at Tikapur in Kailali district, police said.

Two policemen were injured in a rebel attack at Motipur in Bardia Thursday, another security announcement said. The injured are undergoing treatment at a hospital in Nepalgunj.

Maoists Wednesday killed Prem Bharati at Kukchok in Sindhupalchowk, a published report said. Bharati was a security guard at Himalaya Hotel in Lalitpur.
