Maoists Sunday set ablaze an abandoned police post at Satti bazzar in Kailali district, police said. Police abandoned the outpost five months fearing rebel attacks.

A group of about 50 insurgents went on a rampage for three hours leveling the building. Maoists also destroyed another police post at Sadakpur with explosives in the district, police said.

The rebel attacks coincide as police in the district try to re-occupy abandoned outposts.
