King Gyanendra granted audience to Speaker of House of Representatives Taranath Ranabhatt Monday evening at Nagarjun.

According to various published reports, the King is said to have expressed his deep concern regarding the lack of consensus among parties to resolve the current political vacuum in the country.

Similarly, Ramesh Nath Pandey, Member of the Upper House, is reported to have been provided audience by the king on Monday regarding the current political deadlock and measures to rescue the same.

It may be noted that the King has already granted audiences to all major political leaders and forwarded the 7 point agenda in solving the current crisis in the country.
