King administers oath of office

His Majesty King Gyanendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev administered the oath of office to the newly appointed Minister for Women, Children and Social Welfare, Durga Shrestha, at the Royal Palace on Thursday.

The newly appointed Minister Shrestha, was not present on Wednesday when King Gyanendra administered the oath of office to 9 members of the newly formed council of ministers at the Narayanhiti Royal Palace in Kathmandu on Wednesday evening.
