Two killed, 47 injured in two bus accidents

Two persons were killed and 47 others were injured, many seriously, in two separate bus accidents in Rasuwa and Siraha districts Friday, police said.

One person died instantly and 22 others were injured seriously when a bus plunged off a mountain highway beyond Trishuli on the Pasang Lhamu Highway.

One person died on the spot and 25 others were injured when a bus met with an accident at Kasara Chowk in Siraha. The bus was heading for Morang from Kathmandu.

The injured are undergoing treatment at district headquarters Lahan 150 kms southeast of the capital.
