Japan’s Takarajuka Society Nepal this week handed over an ambulance and a fire engine to Janakpur Municipality at a function in the capital this week.

Shijomo Minoru, representative of the Society and member of the Takarajuka Friendship Society Japan Chapter handed over the keys of the ambulance and fire engine to Janakpur Mayor Bajrang Prasad Shah. The ambulance will also service villages of the neighbouring districts of Mahottari, Siraha and Sarlahi.

Takarajuka Society Nepal has already donated 12 ambulances and 12 fire engines to other municipalities.
