The government of India has provided a grant assistance of Rs 4,589,000 to Nepal for the construction of the Lal Bakaiya River embankment, a press release of the Indian Embassy said Friday.

The Indian government has agreed to provide grant assistance for the construction of embankments on the Lal Bakaiya, Bagmati, Mkamala and Khando Rivers, the Indian embassy said.
