Indian government, people extend congratulations

KATHMDNU:The Indian Minister of State for External Affairs Digbijaya Singh visited the Royal Nepalese Embassy in New Delhi Thursday and signed the book of congratulations and expressed felicitations on the auspicious birthday of His Royal Highness the Nava Yuvaraj on behalf of the people and government of India.

His Royal Highness the Nava Yuvaraj born to Crown Prince Paras and Crown Princess Himani is the 13th descendent of King Prithivi Narayan Shah the great who united the Kingdom of Nepal more than two hundred years back.

The Minister of State was accompanied by senior external affairs officials. Similarly CPN (UML) General Secretary Madhav Kumar Nepal extended his hearty congratulations to King Gyanendra and Queen Komal on being blessed with a grandson His Royal Highness the Nava Yuvaraj.
