India has committed funding of Rs.14,169,124 for construction of school building of Babuji Ray Junai Thakur Nimna Madhyamik Vidyalaya, Fulbariya, in Siraha district.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed among the Embassy of India, Kathmandu, the District Development Committee, Siraha and the school authorities of Babuji Ray Junai Thakur Nimna Madhyamik Vidyalaya, a press statement of the Indian embassy said Monday.
The project, under the India-Nepal Economic Cooperation Programme, is expected to be completed within one year and will benefit 755 students pursuing their education.
Fifty one school buildings are being constructed under Programme in 26 districts of Nepal, the statement further said.
