His Majesty  King Gyanendra Thursday honoured five persons with honourary titles coinciding with the auspicious rice feeding ceremony of Naba Yubaraj Hridayanendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev, a Royal Palace announcement said.

Principal Secretary at the Narayanhiti Royal Palace Pahuspati Bhakta Maharjan was conferred the title of Mir Subba along with  Ramananda Shrestha. Col. Prakash Bikram Shah was conferred the rank of Honourary Brig. General.

Dr. Shyam Bahadur Pandey was conferred title of  Royal Physician while Dr.Dibeshwari Malla was conferred the title Royal Gynecologist.
