Kathmandu, Aug. 23: The Ministry of Information and Communications, according to a ministerial decision of August 21, has appointed Kailash Pradhan as a member of the Board of Directors of the Gorkhapatra Corporation.

Pradhan, who also had a brief stint as Board member of the Corporation three years ago, is the publisher and chief editor of Nepal Jagaran, a vernacular weekly.

Other members of the Corporation’s Board of Directors are Chairman of the Corporation Purandar Ghimire, acting General Manager Benu Raj Prasai, Pralhad Pokharel, Section Officer at the Ministry of Information and Communications and Deputy Executive Editor of Gorkhapatra Shiva Prasad Bhattarai as representative of the employees of the Corporation.
