Govt. – teachers’ talk postponed

The sixth round of talks between the government and the teachers ended Sunday in a stalemate with both sides agreeing to sit for another round of talks on 22 January, published reports said on Monday.

The leaders of teachers’ association flayed the government for not taking their protests seriously.

The teachers during the talk stressed their problems and suggested solutions while the Ministry officials assured the teachers to come up with solutions for main problems in the next meet.

The talk was held at the Ministry of Education and Sports. The talk was held between the representatives of all five teachers’ association and the Education Secretary Bidhya Mallik.
