As the price of gold has increased in the international market and its demand in the country has also increased because of the marriage season, its price in the domestic market has also increased, the Nepal Gold and Silver  Dealers Association has stated.

Gold was sold at Rs 8,355 per ten gram in the local market from Sunday to Tuesday but its price soared by RS 25 and reached RS 8,380 on Wednesday. Likewise the price increased by Rs 5 per ten gram Thursday and by another Rs 25 on Friday and reached Rs 8,410.

The price of silver however has remained stable at RS 132 per ten gram since last Sunday.
