A global meeting on ‘Federation of the Future Consultative Meeting on Cooperation and Coordination’ has kicked off in Kathmandu today with the aim of defining the actions for areas for improvement relating to cooperation and coordination within the Red Cross Movement and beyond for delivering better humanitarian services to the needy people of the world.

The meeting has been participated by Red Cross National Societies from all the continents along with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).

The meeting will conclude on 27th October 2005.
