A mother of five girls gave birth to triplets, all girls, at a hospital in Dharan Sunday. Reshammaya Rai, 35, was expecting a son.

She hails from Chadandi in Udaipur district. A doctor at the B.P. Koirala Memorial Hospital said the girls were born at six minute intervals. The condition of the mother and children are normal.
