Following the supreme court’s order to release four detainees serving jail terms on charges of their involvement in Maoist activities, the security bodies of the government released them Wednesday, a press release of the Human Rights Organisation of Nepal (HURON) said.

Those released are Sagar Bhattarai, Nar Bahadur Shah, Moti Rijal and Uddhav Acharya said. The detainees were released after HURON Chairman Sudeep Pathak and advisor Malla K. Sundar agreed to take their guarantee.
