The FNCCI and Nepal Trade Union Federations (NTUF) have signed an agreement to reform existing labour laws to maintain industrial peace in the country, an announcement said.

The accord was signed between the NTUF, General Federation of Nepalese Trade Union (GEFONT) and Democratic Trade Union Federation (DEFONT) and FNCCI-Employers Council.

“The agreement is an attempt  to restore sound industrial  relations by maintaining social security and among other things promote collective bargaining and exit policy,” an announcement said.
