Foreign Minister (FM) Ramesh Nath Pandey held discussions with a high level Tibetan delegate led by Chairman of Tibet Autonomous Region of China Chamba Phuntsok at the Foreign Ministry on Thursday.

Talking to journalists after the meeting, FM Pandey said issues of bilateral interest were discussed during the meeting. Pandey informed that issues of bilateral trade, investment and tourism were discussed.
Chairman of Tibet Autonomous Region of China Chamba Phuntsok said they held discussions on bilateral cooperation and economic interest.
The Tibetan team is scheduled to participate in various programmes during their stay till December 13.
Meanwhile the Tibet Autonomous Region of China has agreed to grant an assistance of Rs 18 million to Nepal for implementation of an education project in Mustang district in west Nepal and for ambulances to Udaypur in eastern Nepal.
A statement issued by the Foreign Ministry said Joint Foreign Secretary Hira Bahadur Thapa and Secretary General of Tibet Autonomous Region of China Zhou Chunlai signed an agreement on Thursday to this effect.
