Finland, TI-Nepal to work together

Finland will provide Transparency International-Nepal Euros 90,800 to conduct research for the next three years.

TI-Nepal will prepare reports on government actions on reports and recommendations of constitutional bodies like the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA), Auditor General and the Public Service Commission.

Studies will also be made on procurement systems in major public sector enterprises incurring heavy losses.

Asko Lukkainen, Charge de’ Affaires of the Finnish Embassy and Kul Shekhar Sharma, President of TI-Nepal signed the accord.
