KATHMANDU: Encephalitis is spreading in eastern terai and over a hundred people are suspected to be infected.

Although over a dozen patients have been admitted into Koshi hospital with encephalitis, there have been no accurate estimates.

According to reports, the disease is prominent in Morang, Jhapa, Sunsari, Saptari, Siraha and Udaypur districts.
