Security personnel entered the house of Kishore Shrestha, editor of Janaastha weekly newspaper, Wednesday morning in Lalitpur and searched the premises, his family said.

The house was raided and searched after the Wednesday editions of the weekly newspaper hit the newsstands. The reason for the raid was not known.

An actress committed suicide last year after the newspaper published her nude picture. The Federation of Nepali Journalists condemned the raid.
