At an all party meeting held this afternoon at the Parliament secretariat, Dr. Pokharel said that the Constituent Assembly elections program could not be finalised due to lack of necessary laws.

Meanwhile, the all party meeting concluded their discussions on the Bills to govern Political Parties on Wednesday.

On Thursday, they will start discussions over Election (Crime and Punishment) Bill. The parliament is currently discussing four electoral legislations while the fifth one on CA Members Election Bill is yet to be presented to the parliament.

Taking part in the discussion, Home Minister Krishna Sitaula said the government wants the parliament to pass all the five legislations together.
